We celebrated Katie's second birthday this past Saturday with our close friends and had a wonderful time. The Seattle Seahawks made the playoffs which we weren't expecting so it turned out to be a combination party. It was so cute too because at the end of the game, when they surprisingly won, Katie was standing near the tv and everyone started yelling and cheering. She thought all of the excitement was for her and as soon as everyone realized that they transitioned to "Happy Birthday" which she loved! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a picture of that moment but I was able to get a few pictures from her big day.

Katie was never a cuddly, snuggly baby, but lately I have noticed that changing. She now asks for hugs and kisses and when we pick her up she loves to squeeze our necks. She also randomly says "I love you mommy" which is the best!

She loved her cake this year and it's amazing what a difference a year makes. She was so polite and ate it with her fork and hardly made a mess. Nothing like her first taste of cake a year ago when it was in her hair and pretty much everywhere.
