Texas here we come

Tonight we leave for our big trip to the Lone Star state. Our flight doesn't leave until tomorrow morning at 7:00 but we decided it would be easier to go the night before rather than get up at 2:00 in the morning to drive down. It is a very long day of traveling so I am just hoping Lil Miss does as well on this trip as she did when we went to Denver. Unfortunately, she is getting over a cold, mommy has one, and daddy....well daddy isn't much of a traveler but that's ok because at least he is healthy. Hopefully, Katie and I will get well soon so that we can actually enjoy our vacation. My grandparents live in a beautiful retirement community with a golf course, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and shuffle board! I used to love playing shuffle board with grandma when I was little and even though Katie won't be able to do much yet it will still be nice to get away from this rain and enjoy the sunshine. So the blogging will be put on hold for a week or so but I will try and post some pictures while we are down there. Bon Voyage!
