- Welcome to Team Garner, the blog about our family just living life in Bellingham, Washington. We became first time parents when our wonderful daughter, Katie was born on her due date of January 6, 2009. We chose the name Katie in memory of my mom who passed away in 1998. Our second little peanut, Carly Rose was born June 30. Parenthood is an adventure and this is a place for our friends and family to stay in touch with the Garner family happenings.

Oh good, a picture with you in it!! She is sooooo precious and I can see the love between the two of you! And that my friend, makes my heart swell with love for you and Katie, in all of the momma love kind of way. That cake is cute too with the 2 candles. You're awesome. And I am so glad that your mom let us hang out, even though I was a bad influence! lol...
I came across your blog via your wedding photographer. I was touch by your story and wanted to make contact. I too lost my mom from cancer. Since then I have gotten married and had a daughter....sound familiar?
I don't have any friends that have ever lost someone this close.
