Not Much to Say

There are a couple reasons for the lack of blogging this week. First, things have been quiet at the Garner house so there isn't much to talk about. Second, I just haven't been in a blogging mood lately. My pregnancy brain is not only full of "what to do before Carly is here" thoughts, but also of what will labor be like this time around, how will Katie adjust to having a baby around, how will things get done around the house with two little ones, will Jeff and I have any time to ourselves, and the list goes on and on. Luckily I am exhausted by the end of the day, so falling asleep is not a problem. However, if I wake up in the middle of the night there is a good chance I will start thinking which then leads to no sleeping. The worst is when I wake up around 4:30 and have to go to the bathroom because the chances of me being able to fall back asleep are almost zero. Although as hard as it is now, I think it is a good way to gradually get used to being sleep deprived again. I know those three hour feedings are coming very soon.

Today I am 30 weeks along and really trying to enjoy it because I know this will be the last time I will ever be pregnant. So even though the heartburn is back, my body feels huge and I cry all the time, I am really trying to enjoy every kick, elbow, and hiccup because there will probably never again be a little life growing inside me. Katie is really starting to notice my tummy now and it is so cute when she reaches out to touch it (hit it). We are working on the gentle part.

And for all of you who enjoy seeing pictures, I unfortunately don't have any new ones because Lil Miss is always on the go and it is virtually impossible to get a good picture of her these days. I will work on that this weekend and hopefully get some posted soon.

Hang in there! Your blog post could have been mine everyday for the past 5 months. Everything will work out just fine. Just this week (about 3 months into being a mom of two), I finally feel my body beginning to rebound. BTW, you look great even if you don't feel like it.

Thanks Janelle for the encouragement! It helps to hear things like that. Your little girl is adorable and I love JT and his tadpoles! To cute!
