Rainy Day

Fall has settled into Washington which means the rain has begun and probably won't stop until March. Today is one of those typical northwest days where it has been misty/drizzly/rainy all day and the sky stays the same dark gray color. Surprisingly, I don't mind because it really is lush and green here and the beautiful summer months make up for this time of year. Plus the holidays are coming and since this will be Katie's first it should be a lot of fun.

We are excited for Halloween even though we will just be visiting a few neighbors houses. Then we are going to be Harlingen, Texas the week before Thanksgiving to visit my grandparents. Christmas will be spent here at home. And then our little girl will be a year old come January! It is so hard to believe it has almost been a year since she was born. Time really does go by so fast just like everyone says.

I thought I would share a few pictures from our rainy day.

Rain, rain go away....Katie wants to go out and play

Not sure what this face is...I think I just happened to capture an action shot

Takes after her mommy and goes straight for the Halloween candy
