My Little Monkey

It seems like Lil Miss went from sitting to crawling to standing all in about a weeks time. Last Sunday Jeff and I couldn't believe how fast she was moving around and pulling herself up on things. Today she is doing all of that and making it look easy. Yesterday morning I found her sitting up in her crib with a big, proud smile on her face. My little girl is growing up too fast!

Here is a time line of the weeks events. Last Sunday she was standing up on the couch but with mommy's hand close by.

By Wednesday she was crawling and trying to standing up on whatever she can get her hands on.

By Friday she was pulling herself all by herself and digging into her toy boxes.

And finally here is a video of this morning when she was doing it all by herself and loving every minute of her new independence.



In addition to my little monkey crawling and moving all around we have been dealing with some plumbing issues and Jeff getting sick. While I am typing this he is under the house trying to fix the leaking pipe even though he feels miserable. So far Katie and I are staying healthy and I am really hoping we can stay that way. I can't imagine what I would do if I felt as bad as Jeff does now. We aren't sure if he has the flu or just a really bad cold but I am hoping he starts feeling better soon. Katie wants to play with her daddy again.
