Updates

This was a tough week for the Garner's because we unfortunately didn't get good news about my father in law, Carl. He had a colonscopy on Monday and they did find a growth which explained the symptoms he has been having. We got the biopsy results on Thursday and the piece they looked at wasn't cancerous (which of course was good news). However, the Dr is still concerned because of the size of the growth, the color of it, and the severe symptoms Carl is having. Therefore, he will have surgery in a week or so and after that we will know more about what, if any, additional treatment he may need. Ideally we are hoping that he will feel better once the growth is removed but we just don't know. In the meantime we are thinking positive and praying for a quick recovery.

Katie also got her first bump on the head this week. She was at daycare and had a run in with a block. As you can see the block won and left his mark on my precious little ones face. I know there are going to be many more bumps and bruises but as a new mommy it's hard to walk in the door and see this on your little girls face.


She cried at first but cheered up quickly and now all that is left is a bruise. We have also been told Lil Miss has some jealous tendencies. A 4 monthd old girl, Avery started at her daycare and Katie is not happy about it. Apparently, whenever Sherry is feeding or holding Avery, Katie gets very upset and cries hard! Lil Miss is going to be in for a rude awakening when a new baby joins the family but no worries, that hasn't happened yet.

Still not crawling but at least she will stay on her tummy for a little more time before rolling over to her back. These are just couple pictures I took this week of playtime on the floor.
