We have our new gas fireplace and it couldn't have come at a better time since it has been snowing since noon today. It took the company eight hours to install it but it was well worth it because now I am sitting in a warm, cozy family room. This is something Jeff and I wanted to do soon after we moved in because their used to be a pink (yes, pink like the rest of the house) wood stove that was very ugly and ruined the whole look of the room. Plus, it is great because if the electricity goes out we still have a heat source. Ozzy of course is loving it and Katie has already been gazing at the flickering flame.
During the install Katie and I went over to my friend, Stacy's house. Stacy's daughter, Ella is 11 weeks and we were hoping the girls would get to spend a little play time together but no such luck since they both slept most of the time. It was nice though to hang out with another full time mommy and talk baby's.
