Family Pictures

We had professional pictures taken a few weeks ago and we were very happy with the way they turned out.  Of course getting a two year old to smile on cue is not easy so we ended up with many fake smiles.  Carly was actually the easy one and thought the whole thing was a lot of fun.  Here are pictures from Jen Martin Studios.  She does a great job and photographed our wedding, Katie's 3 months photos, and some mommy and Katie shots last spring. 

Wordless Weekend

I know I have been neglecting the blog this week but there just hasn't been much happening and I just haven't been in a writing mood.  We are having a very mellow weekend, especially today because Carly for some reason (which I can't figure out) decided to wake up at 12:30 last night and not go back to sleep until around 3:00.  I tried everything...rocking, binky replacement, cry it out, Tylenol (thinking her teeth were bothering her), and even bringing her into our bed, but NOTHING worked.  She finally gave in and fell back asleep and has been just fine today.  So, who knows what was going on her little head....I am just hoping she doesn't repeat it again tonight when I have to get up at 5:00am.

Mommy Playing Photographer

Photography has always been a hobby of mine and now that I have an adorable little one most of my pictures end up being of her. Last week we went outside and had a little photo session. She is so busy and is always investigating something.

Then we went inside and I was finally able to get some happy faces.
