First Week

Here are a few more pictures for everyone to enjoy. I know I am behind on the narration but I will get caught up eventually. We are all doing well and Katie had her first Dr. Appointment today. She weighed in at 8lbs which is great because she was down to 7lbs 10oz last week when we came home from the hospital. Her jaundice is looking better and there was no need to do any further lab testing which was really good news. Mommy and daddy are doing well as well. We are getting about 6 hours of sleep a night in 2 hour increments and I am trying to get one nap in at some point during the day. The hardest thing for me right now is the emotions...I cry very easily and especially a lot in the evening for some reason. I know this is normal as it takes some time for the hormones to get under control but it still is hard.

Grandpa is anxious to hold Miss Katie when her eyes are open but she is sleeping a lot and those wide awake moments are rare.

Proud daddy enjoying his little girl, the glider, and of course his fish tank.

Her second car ride and so far she seems to love her car seat...at least once she is all strapped in.
Miss Katie in one of her sleepers that Aunt Becky gave her. We love the elastic at the bottom...especially during those middle of the night diaper changes.
